Isabelle Falardeau

Biography

Isabelle Falardeau is a doctorate student in geography at Université Laval. She holds a master’s degree in geography and a multidisciplinary baccalaureate (sustainable tourism, management, geography) at the graduate level. Her main research interests are sustainable tourism, protected areas, nature tourism, innovation and authenticity. Her academic experience is combined with a background of tourism industry experience. She cumulates ten years of management experience in ski resorts of Canada, Colorado and New-Zealand, the result of her lifelong passion for mountains, snow and snowboarding. She acts as the coordinator for the Chaire de recherche sur l’attractivité et l’innovation en tourisme.
