Project Timeline: February – July 2020

Region: Yukon

An assessment of montane plant species responses to ongoing and future climate warming in the northern boreal mountain zone will be conducted via an extensive review of species-specific responses to warming in the literature, including both experimental warming and observational studies. Results from this project will indicate which vascular plant species within this region are expected to change in distribution under rapid warming, which can help to predict the assemblage and function of no-analog communities (i.e. species existing today, but in combinations not found at present).
